1 Minute Introduction
VoltBot provides visual charging experience:
Display dynamic voltage/current.
Display real-time charging speed(power).
Display quick charging state.
VoltBot has its own APP. You could download it free from the App Store or Google Play.
VoltBot broadcasts a WiFi hotspot named ‘VoltBot’, it also can join your home Wi-Fi. And you could experience VoltBot with the APP.
With APP, curves of voltage/current/power can be observed. The statistics for battery capacity and total consumed energy will be displayed on the curve. And the curves are downloadable.
The output port on VoltBot is USB type A. This design enables the fixing strength for various extenders.
The USB type-A port provides quick charge support for Qualcomm Quickcharge 3/2, and HiSilicon Fast Charging Protocol (FCP). This feature ensures the quick charge capabilities include: most Samsung phones, most Google phones, and most Huawei phones.
An extender called A to C converter has been produced. It carries a USB type A plug and USB type C socket. It is tiny (15mm*20mm), so it can be plugged into VoltBot smoothly. With A to C converter, VoltBot can provide quick charge support for USB PD 3/2, and quick charge capabilities for iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X/XR/XS.
Easy switching between Charger Mode and DC Supply Mode. Beneath Charger Mode, VoltBot will supply the output voltage as connected-device requested. Beneath DC Supply Mode, VoltBot is always ready to output the voltage exactly as tapped-in.
There are 4 touch-keys on the upper edge of VoltBot to set-up VoltBot quickly, toggle between modes and voltages.
The App (also named VoltBot) provide the most pleasant graphical user interface and the most abundant functionality. A picture is worth a thousand words, try it at App Store or Google Play.
VoltBot embeds a page server inside. This feature enables the lowest requirement and longest durability of accessing with VoltBot. It could be accessed by most devices such as Pad, laptop, or Phone. No APP installation is required. With this feature, it is able to write your own data acqsituion&voltage controlling program with java, python, PHP, and etc.
VoltBot has an external UART port. It can be used to control the voltage and monitor the data with a simple configuration. There are many devices has UART port, like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PLC, and PC.
Under DC Supply Mode, any voltage between 2.5~12.5 can be assigned freely.
VoltBot has 4 independent output channels. Each channel has a high-speed digital power engine.
Those special-designed engines provide low ripples and fast transitions. Their efficiency is optimized to achieve low self-heat and high stability.
With converters converting USB plug-in into dual-screw jacks or banana jacks, it is possible to use VoltBot the same way as a traditional DC power supply.
Real-time voltage and current are printed on LCD. Power curves can be read with the APP to help to analyze the working condition of connected-device.

USB to Dual-Screw Jack
The dual-screw just is the most common output type for DC power supply. It is widely used in industrial power modules.
USB to Banana Jack
The dual-screw jack is the easiest way for wiring. It is traditional and has been used since manual telephone switchboard.
USB to DC cable
It convert USB into DC 5.5*2.5 plug(5.5*2.1 compatible). DC 5.5*2.5 is the most common power plug for electronics adapters. We also provide another converter kit to convert 5.5*2.5 plug into a boarder range of plugs.
A to C converter
It is mentioned in the quick charge section. It not only provides a Type C socket physically but also supports PD protocol to output 5V/9V/12V automatically.
Type C to DC 5.5*2.5 cable
It is designed for input. it can be plugged into Type C adapter, talk to the adapter with PD protocol, try to request the highest voltage (the highest of 9/12/15/20V, if supported by the PD adapter), and finally, conduct the requested voltage into VoltBot.
It is quite helpful for traveling because VoltBots, Pads, laptops, and phones can share the same adapter. Meanwhile, with VoltBot, it is possible to quick charge 4 phones simultaneously with a sufficient 45/65W adapter, instead only one at a time.
For storage of Li-ion Battery, the capacity of 60%~80% is better. For devices seldom used, VoltBot could provide scheduled charging. There are two options: 1.time scheduled shutdown 2. low current shutdown.
VoltBot is small and has multiple ways to access. You could access it according to TCP/UDP/HTML/UART protocol with programming language like C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, PHP. It is a nice choice to embed it into a complex system when monitoring&logging&resetting a key hardware module is needed.
Charge Cable Extension
If you are a veteran of DIY, you must have possed a lot of adapters with various plug types and various output voltages. With VoltBot, you probably can get out of the trouble on storage for them.
VoltBot equipped environment light sensor. It will manage its backlight intensity and never cause light pollution in the room.
The shell is made of two materials. The yellow part is ABS, Grey part is TPE. TPE has an anti-impact property and perfect touch feeling.
